Spreading the May Measurement Month word across Poland

Poland’s May Measurement Month teams are raising awareness across the country after industry supporter Servier organised a very successful press conference at the Polish Press Agency in Warsaw.

A total of 33 journalists attended, hearing from MMM17 country leader Professor Jacek Jóżwiak, Professor Piotr Jankowski, from the Jagiellonian University Medical College Institute of Cardiology in Kraków, Professor Maciej Banach, Chair of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at the Medical University, Lodz, and Dr Mirosław Mastej, director of a health centre in Jaslo.

Staff from Servier are also taking part in May Measurement Month, distributing information about the initiative to doctors and pharmacists and screening colleagues at the company’s Polish headquarters in Warsaw (below).

Elsewhere in Warsaw, staff from health insurance provider Medicover were joined by other MMM volunteers on 7 May to screen runners taking part in the 6th Vegan Run near the Polish Olympic Committee headquarters in Żoliborz (below).

In Kraków, meanwhile, a team from Jagiellonian University Medical College’s cardiology department have been hosting May Measurement Month screening sessions in the city centre Szczepanski Square (below).
