Emergency care in life-threatening conditions
Sometimes life-threatening situations happen. As practice shows, there is no time for reflection in such situations. It is necessary to act quickly, accordingly and without hesitation, and most importantly, in a coordinated manner.
This seminar is recommended for medical workers and includes learning the algorithm of rapid stabilization of the critical patient, the quality of basic and specialized resuscitation measures in adults. The seminar was developed on the basis of modern recommendations of the ILCOR, European Resuscitation Council, British Resuscitation Council, American Heart Association, and acting regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The goal of the seminar:
To gain skills in resuscitation measures in case of respiratory and circulatory arrest;
Prevent respiratory and circulatory arrest in critically ill people before the arrival of the resuscitation team.
assimilation of the modern algorithm of the structured rapid review and stabilization of the critical patient
The seminar program includes:
Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Algorithm of specialized resuscitation measures
Algorithm for recognizing and stabilizing a patient near respiratory and/or circulatory arrest
Ensuring airway patency:
Simple tools/techniques (positioning, sanation, airways)
Specific (laryngeal masks, tracheal intubation)
Patient monitoring
Recognizing basic cardiac rhythms associated with circulatory arrest
Performing safe defibrillation
Current anaphylactic treatment protocol
Providing care for acute coronary syndrome, cardiac rhythm disturbances, and acute cerebral circulatory disturbances.
Treatment of respiratory disorders, metabolic disorders, etc.
The skills and knowledge gained are practiced in modern mannequin and real medical equipment with the use of interactive simulation techniques.
After successful completion of the seminar the certificate is issued.
Course duration: 2 days (16 hours).
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The course is for medical professionals, so proof of medical education and indication of your medical/pharmaceutical specialty is required to participate in the course.
