First aid on a streetcar

First Aid on the Tram!
Every now and then there are reposts on Facebook about another incident on public transportation. Up to and including cardiac arrest. And what do people do? At best, they call an ambulance and wait, posting tweets with sad emoticons. And the ambulance crew still has to get there. And there’s traffic and sometimes even a forest in the way.

We invite you to the workshop, where you can practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation in small groups for almost half an hour. Yes, you’re going to have a hell of a time – it’s the reinforced practice that sets the skill. We’ll teach you how to evacuate a victim from a public vehicle, how to do an examination in a confined space, and more. These four hours spent on a real moving streetcar will be etched in your memory for a long time.

Practicum Topics:

  • Life assessment (lying and sitting).
  • Transferring into a stable lateral position.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation for 25 minutes, working in teams.
  • Evacuation from the streetcar (on hands, soft stretcher).
  • Seizures (assistance in the chair and on the floor).

Duration: 4 hours.

Group: up to 12 people.

Features: A real streetcar in motion. Only after taking our basic first aid course. School discounts do not apply to this workshop.
